#071: The Magic Flute

I know some pretty harsh ladies, my favourite being a cousin of mine who can tear you down in one sentence.  I worried she would lose her cool when she had kids, but personality is in the DNA and hers was destined to go nowhere even with the onset of motherhood.  Watching Ingmar Bergman’s beautiful rendering of Mozart’s operetta provided me with a memory that, while not my favourite, is one that for some reason sticks forever and I recall it every time I watch the film.
