It’s amazing how different the same film can be when watched by two different people, as I often notice when my best friend and I watch them together.  Even more interesting is how the slightest changes in a film, like seeing a directors cut or a televised version, can also radically change how a person interprets the story, as I learned when my best friend and I went to the restored re-release of Federico Fellini’s second Oscar winner.
